At Drachen-Propangas GmbH, we see it as our responsibility not only to deliver high-quality products and services, but also to actively contribute to the respect of human rights and the protection of the environment. Compliance with legal requirements and international standards is a central component of our corporate management.
1. Commitment to due diligence obligations
We expressly commit to the due diligence obligations defined in the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). These include in particular:
• the prevention and avoidance of human rights violations such as child labor, forced labor, discrimination, and inadequate working conditions;
• minimizing negative environmental impacts, particularly with regard to the illegal use of natural resources and the use of hazardous chemicals.
2. Internationale Standards als Leitbild
Our principles are based on recognized international frameworks such as:
• the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
• the principles of the United Nations Global Compact,
• the ILO core labor standards,
• the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and
• the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
3. Implementation in practice
To comply with these standards, we are committed to taking the following measures:
• Risk management: We regularly assess potential human rights and environmental risks in our business areas and supply chains.
• Preventive measures: We raise awareness of relevant issues among our employees and partners and promote sustainable practices.
• Remedial measures: We actively work to minimize identified risks and remedy violations.
• Cooperation in the supply chain: We expect our business partners and suppliers to also implement human rights and environmental standards in their processes.
4. Transparency and communication
We are committed to reporting openly and transparently on our progress and challenges. We document our measures to comply with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act annually and make them available upon request.
5. Challenges and continuous improvement
We are aware that compliance with all requirements poses challenges, especially in complex global supply chains. We therefore view the LkSG as an ongoing process that enables continuous improvement.
